Our office is located in 405, Surya Darshan on Carter Road Number 3 in Borivali East. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the station which helps with the commute for everyone. We deal with international side of textiles, so there are always papers and shipping logs spread across the desks. Usually, the morning starts with checking emails that came in overnight from different time zones. It gets a bit loud in the building sometimes, especially in the afternoons when everyone is busy. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for some time, and Borivali has its own pace compared to the rest of the city. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of floors, just a dedicated group in a regular office building. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in samples. The lift in the building can be slow on Mondays, which is a bit of a running joke here. There’s a tea stall nearby where we usually take our breaks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our work and we’ve gotten used to the routine of it all. We just focus on getting the exports and imports sorted out without making too much of a fuss. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or coordinating with the transport guys. We don't have anything fancy to show off here, just desks and chairs and a lot of work to do. It’s what we know.
