Tejasvi Exports

Our spot is tucked away in the B.K. Chabbra Compound, over in the Shivaji Industrial Estate. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the Vakola Bridge. People always use the Grand Hyatt as a landmark because everyone knows where that big hotel is, even if our side of the street looks a lot different. It’s Santacruz East, so there’s always something happening outside. Tejasvi Exports isn't a massive operation with glass walls. It’s more of a practical setup in blocks B 4 and 5. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Exports involve a lot of waiting for trucks and making sure the labels are stuck on right. The compound can get a bit crowded with vehicles coming in and out, especially when someone’s trying to unload a big shipment. We’ve got a small crew here. Some of the guys have been with us since we started. We drink a lot of chai and try to keep the fans running when it gets humid. It’s just how it goes here. We don't have a flashy lobby or anyone to greet you at a desk. You just walk in and find someone working. We handle the shipping side of things and try to keep the boxes moving. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much of a break in between.
