Suyog Watches

This shop is Suyog Watches and we are located in Kandivali East. Specifically, it is Shop Number 1 in the Alaknanda Building. We are right opposite Sai Dham in the Chamak Estate area. I opened this place up a long time ago. The building is a bit older now, but it suits us just fine. I spend most of my day looking through a magnifying glass at small gears and springs. My eyes get tired by the end of the day, but that’s the job. We have some new watches for sale in the front, mostly simple brands that people can afford. I don’t keep the really expensive stuff because people around here aren't looking for that. They want something that keeps time and doesn’t break. A lot of the work is just changing straps or fixing the pins when they pop out. Sometimes people bring in old wall clocks that haven't worked in ten years. Those take up a lot of space on my workbench and I have to move them around every day. Kandivali can be very crowded, so it’s nice to have this little corner to work in. My son helps out sometimes on the weekends when he isn't busy with his own things. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they walk in when they need help with a watch. It's a simple life and it keeps us busy enough for now.
