Suriti Culture Shop

You can find us up on Level 2 of Haiko Mall in Powai. We’re on the New Devagowda Road side. It’s a bit different being in a mall compared to a street shop, but we like it here. We sell things that have a bit of culture to them, items people might want for their homes or as gifts. The shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot into the shelves. It can get a bit crowded when we get new stock in. We spend a lot of time arranging things so they look okay, even if we aren't professional decorators. Most of the people who come in are just out for a walk in the mall or doing their grocery shopping downstairs. It’s nice to see families on the weekends. We try to keep the atmosphere quiet and relaxed, away from the noise of the bigger stores. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Some days it’s just us dusting the shelves and waiting for the afternoon rush. We don’t do big sales pitches. If you like something, you buy it. Powai is a busy area, but inside Haiko Mall, it feels a bit more local. We’re just regular people running a small shop and hoping people find something they like. It’s nice when someone finds the perfect thing for their house. We just open up, sit here, and talk to whoever comes by the door. That's our day.
