Sony Watch And Mobile is at Shop 456/4 on 90 Feet Road in Dharavi. Being in Mumbai, especially in an area like Dharavi, means things are always moving fast. We handle two different things here: watches and mobile phones. It is a small shop, but we try to fit a lot in. One side of the wall is mostly watches, and the other side is for phones and accessories like chargers or screen guards. People come in with cracked screens or watches that stopped ticking. It is a lot of repair work mostly. 90 Feet Road is always crowded, so there is a lot of dust and noise coming in from the street. I spend a lot of time looking through a magnifying glass at small watch parts. It is tedious work but someone has to do it. The mobile side is different because the technology changes so fast. We have to keep up with the new models and what people are asking for. Sometimes customers come in just to ask for directions or to get their sim cards fixed. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It is just a shop with a counter and some stools for people to sit while they wait. We’ve been here at this address 400017 for a while. It is a bit tight when we have five or six people inside at once. We just keep working through the day until it is time to close and go back home.
