Siwa Watches

Siwa Watches is situated in Udyog Bhavan, right across from the Brijwasi factory. We are quite close to the station on Surveyor Street in Goregaon East. It’s a busy industrial kind of area, so there’s always a lot of movement outside. Our shop is unit 270. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but the locals and the factory workers know us well. We’ve been doing this for a long time. The space inside is mostly taken up by workbenches and boxes of spare parts. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but that’s how watch shops usually are when there is work to be done. We focus on watches, obviously. People bring in everything from old mechanical pieces to the newer battery ones. We don't have any flashy signs or big lights. Just a simple door and some glass windows where we put a few models on display. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan running near the back. The walk from Goregaon station isn’t too bad, though the road can get crowded with trucks and tempos during the day. We’re just here to get the work done and help out whoever walks in. It’s a practical business, nothing more. We spend most of our time looking through magnifying glasses at tiny gears. It’s quiet work in a noisy neighborhood.
