We are located on the first floor of the Sai Commercial Building, right next to the Lakme place on Station Road. Being in Govandi, it’s always loud outside with the trains and the traffic, but inside 105-106, we just focus on the export side of things. It’s a good location because it’s easy for people to find us, especially since we’re right by the station. We’ve been here for a while, and the office has that lived-in feel. There are stacks of export documents and samples of what we send out piled up on the side tables. It isn't a place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and see us working at our desks. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to suppliers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, making sure everything is lined up for the shipments. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving. We’re just a small group of people trying to do a good job with what we have. We don't have big speeches about what we do; we just pack the orders and send them where they need to go. It’s a busy life here in Govandi, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Station Road always has energy, and being right in the middle of it keeps us on our toes.
