Shree Creations

Shree Creations is located at 503 on BPC Road, Old Padra Road in Malad West. We’ve been working with fabric in this shop for a long time. The space is usually full of rolls of cloth and loose threads. We do a lot of cutting, stitching, and finishing here. It’s not a big factory, just a local workshop. We have a few sewing machines that have been with us since the start. They are loud but they sew straight, which is what matters. We mostly do work for local shops and some individual orders. The light in Malad West can be quite nice in the afternoons, which helps when you are trying to match thread colors. We don't have a big website or a social media person. People just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. Sometimes we get a big order and the whole place gets covered in fabric scraps. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work. Our backs get a bit sore by the end of the day, but that’s the nature of the job. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just people who know how to sew and make clothes. We take it one garment at a time. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we’re still here in the same spot, doing the same work. We keep a teapot going in the corner most of the day.
