Sharda Baby Watch

Sharda Baby Watch is located over at Krishna Building, right near the Alankar Cinema on Nandi Durga Road. We’ve been sitting in this same spot in Girgaon for quite a few years now. It’s not a very big shop, but we have enough space for the glass counters and a few stools for people to sit while they wait. Mostly we handle watches, especially the smaller ones for kids, though we keep other things too. The area stays pretty busy with the cinema crowds and people coming and going from work. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets loud, but we’re used to it. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. If someone needs a battery changed or a new strap, they drop by. We keep things pretty simple. The shelves are filled with different boxes, and it might look a bit crowded to some, but we know where everything is kept. It is just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. Sometimes neighbors stop in just to say hello or check the time. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction work nearby, but we try to keep the glass clean. That's pretty much how it is here every day in Girgaon. We've seen many shops change hands around here, but we've stayed put.
