Setron Export

Our office for Setron Export spans from room 408 to 412 in Kapadia Chambers. It’s located in the Kalbadevi area, specifically around Amit Nagar. If you know where the Maheshwari Trust is, we’re just a short distance from there. It’s an old building, so the elevators are sometimes a bit slow or moody, but they get the job done eventually. Inside, the space is mostly filled with cardboard boxes and samples of things we’re preparing to ship out. It’s not the quietest place to work because Kalbadevi is always buzzing with people and handcarts outside. We have several desks pushed together to make one big workspace where we handle all the customs paperwork. The walls are lined with wooden cupboards that hold years of records. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs while going through shipping manifests. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the labels are stuck on right before things go out. The lighting is okay, though we added some extra tubes last year to help when we have to stay late. We don’t have any fancy glass partitions or carpets. It’s a working office where things move in and out every day. Most of the time, the floor is covered in bits of tape and packing paper. We just clear it out at the end of the shift and start again tomorrow.
