Saxonia Watch Co

Saxonia Watch Co is located at 27 A Kermani Building, right opposite the Citibank on Sir Pm Road in the Fort area. Being in Fort means we’re surrounded by these old, tall buildings that have been around forever. Our shop is part of that old Mumbai feel. Every morning, we open up and watch the crowds start moving toward their offices. It’s a very different pace than the suburbs. People here are always in a rush, but sometimes they stop in because a strap broke or their watch just quit on them. The Kermani Building has its own character, a bit worn down but sturdy. We’ve got benches and shelves filled with pieces of movements and old cases. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. Sitting across from the bank, we see the city change through the window. We’ve seen businesses come and go, but we just keep working on whatever lands on the counter. Most of the people who come in are working nearby and need a quick fix during their lunch break. We don't use big signs or try to grab attention. If you’re walking down Sir Pm Road, you might even miss us if you’re not looking. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a simple battery change or something more complicated that takes a few days. It’s a steady way to spend the day in this part of town for everyone here in the Fort area.
