Saurashtra Framing Works

We are located at 88-90 on Agiary Cross Lane, right on A.R. Street. It’s a narrow area, so things can get a bit tight when we have big pieces of glass or long wooden moldings coming in. Our shop is filled with the smell of cut wood and a bit of glue. There’s usually sawdust on the floor no matter how many times we sweep it. We spend our days measuring things out, cutting frames, and making sure the glass fits just right. It’s a lot of manual work that requires staying focused so we don’t break anything. We’ve been doing this for years, and the shop has seen a lot of different things come through the doors. Sometimes people bring in old photos that are falling apart, and other times it’s new art. We just take the measurements and get to work. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way to spend a day, but it’s what we know. The street outside is always noisy with people walking by and bikes zooming through the lane. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes the shipments of glass arrive late and we have to stay a bit longer to finish a job. It's a simple business, really. We just focus on the frames and try to keep our workspace from getting too cluttered, though that’s easier said than done most weeks.
