We are located over at C/58 in Navtarun Naik Nagar, which is tucked away a bit in the Sion area. It’s not on a main highway or anything, so most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the local offices. The building is an older one, and our space is simple. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait, but usually, they just leave their watches and come back later. Inside Samrat Watch Company, it’s mostly just us and the ticking sounds of whatever we are working on that day. We handle things like glass replacement or fixing a stuck hand. It’s precise work, so we try to keep the shop as quiet as possible, though you can still hear the street noise outside. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We have a drawer full of old straps and buckles that come in handy. Sometimes someone brings in an old clock that hasn't run in twenty years, and we see what we can do. It isn't always easy, and some days are frustrating when a part won't fit right. But that’s the job. We open up early, around 10:00 AM, and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Just local people helping local people with their timepieces. We don't have much else to say, it's just a watch shop.
