Salim Export

We are located at Shop No 6 in the Amardeep Cooperative Housing Society. It is right on Gurukul Road in Santacruz East. One thing you notice pretty quickly is the tabela nearby, so there is always that specific local smell and the sound of animals in the background. It is a real neighborhood spot. The shop itself is small and usually crammed with boxes ready for export. We have to move things around just to find a place to sit sometimes. Most of the day is spent checking lists and making sure the packing is done properly so nothing breaks. Santacruz is a crowded place and Gurukul Road gets a lot of foot traffic from people heading to the station or the schools. The shop floor is concrete and we have a heavy metal shutter that we pull down every night. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a practical space for getting the work done. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them and there is always a stack of empty crates near the entrance. Working near the tabela means we see the milk delivery guys every morning. It is a lively place to be, even if it gets a bit dusty with all the trucks passing by. We have been here long enough that the shop feels like a second home, even with the cramped space and the constant noise.
