We are based in Unit No. 232/233 at the A to Z Industrial Estate on G.K. Marg. This is in Lower Parel, which used to be all mills and now it’s a mix of everything. Our unit is in one of those older industrial buildings that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit worn down. We do export work, mostly handling goods that go out to different places. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the packing is done right. The office is usually crowded with samples and files. There’s always someone on the phone talking to a shipping agent or a supplier. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big boardroom. We just have sturdy tables and enough light to see what we're doing. It gets a bit humid in the monsoon, but that’s Mumbai for you. We’ve been in the export business for a long time. We know the ropes and the local customs. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. Most of us have been here for years, so we’re more like a family than just coworkers. We don't put on any airs or use fancy slogans. We just do the job, make sure the shipments are on time, and go home to our families. It’s a simple operation in a busy part of the city, and we take pride in getting things shipped correctly.
