Royal Frames Arts

Our shop is Royal Frames Arts, located in Shop No 4 of the Saraswati Apartment. We’re right across from the D Mart on 17th Cross, so it’s easy for people to find us when they’re out doing their grocery shopping. Being on Margosa Road in Kandivali East means we get a good mix of people. We’ve been framing pictures and doing art stuff here for a bit. It’s a messy job sometimes with the wood shavings and the glass, but we enjoy it. The shop is small, but we’ve managed to fit all our equipment in the back. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the guys working on a frame near the front window where the light is better. We don’t really have a big sales pitch. People bring in their photos or paintings, and we just figure out what looks okay. It’s a local business through and through. Living in Kandivali, you get to know the regulars. We see the same people going to D Mart every week. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask about a project they’re thinking of. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. The 4th Main area is always buzzing, so there’s never a dull moment. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work for the neighborhood folks.
