Riki Overseas is tucked away on the second floor of the Sukhanand Building. We are in Room No. 25 at 24/A. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re just wandering around, but we’ve been here long enough that people know the way. The building is one of those older ones where you can hear everything going on in the hallway. We have a lot of paperwork and samples scattered around the room. It’s an export and import kind of business, so there’s always talk about shipping dates and boxes. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk. It can get pretty loud when the phones start ringing all at once. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people overseas, hence the name. The room isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how much stuff we keep on the floor. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in files, but we get through it. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger place, but we like the location and the people in the building. It’s a practical setup for the work we do. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the crates get to the port on time. It’s just how we run things and it seems to work for us and the people we deal with daily.
