Rashmika Exports

We are located in Prasad Chambers, right near the old Roxy Cinema. If you know Charni Road, you know how busy it gets around here. It is just G-12/A on the ground floor, so nobody has to wait for the lift which is usually slow anyway. Our space at Rashmika Exports is mostly filled with files and packages. People come and go all day. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but we are used to it by now. We deal with various items for export, and it involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the boxes are taped up right. The office isn't fancy, just some desks and chairs and the smell of tea in the afternoon. Most of us have been working in this area for years. We know the tea stall guy and the security at the gate. It is a bit cramped when the new stock arrives, but we manage to find space. Charni Road has changed a lot, but this building stays the same. The furniture in here has seen better days, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day's work. We don't have much time for small talk during the day because there is always a shipment to track or someone calling about a delay. It’s just the way things go in this part of town. Sometimes it feels like we spend half our life just organizing papers. It is a decent place to work though.
