Opera House is always a bit of a mess with the traffic and the noise from the street. We are up on the 19th floor of Panchratna at number 1902. Looking out the window is the best part of the day, though we usually are too busy with the stones and the papers to really look. Rajnavi Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been in this building for a while now. It’s a lot of security here because of the diamond and jewelry trade. You get used to the bag checks and the crowded elevators every single day. Sometimes you wait ten minutes just to go down for a quick lunch. Charni Road station is very close, so most of the staff comes in by train. It’s a tiny office, honestly, packed with desks and people and boxes. We drink a lot of chai during the day to stay focused. It helps with the long hours we put in. We aren't some big corporate setup with an HR department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the shipments go out correctly. The building is old but it’s where everything happens in this business. We deal with people from all over, but we are just a small part of this big machine. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and we try our best to keep up. It gets a little bit stressful when there are deadlines. It’s just our place of work.
