You can find us at 46/50 Gaiwadi. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but that’s where all the interesting stuff happens. We deal in handicrafts. Most of the things we have are made by people we’ve known for years. The shop is full of boxes and half-unpacked crates. It’s a bit dusty, to be honest. We aren’t really into the whole big showroom thing. We just have our items on the shelves and people come in to see what’s new. Gaiwadi is always crowded, so getting stuff in and out is a bit of a pain. We have to use small carts to move the bigger pieces. Sometimes I think about moving to a bigger place, but the rent here is okay and everyone knows we are here. My uncle started this place a long time ago. I took over when he got too old. It’s a lot of work looking after all these small items. You have to be careful not to break anything. We don’t really do much advertising. People just hear about us and show up. It’s a slow pace of life, even if the street outside is crazy. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, selling things that people have made with their hands. It's nice to see the work they do. We don't change much around here, we just keep the shelves stocked and the door open for whoever wants to take a look.
