Our spot is on the second floor of Mohan Mansion, right at 224 Shahid Bhagat Singh Road in Fort. It’s an old building, so you have to walk up the stairs since the lift is a bit temperamental sometimes. Being in the Fort area means there’s history all around us, and our building is no different. It’s got high ceilings and windows that let in a decent amount of light, though the view is mostly of other buildings and the street below. We’ve been here for years, and the space has slowly filled up with crates, folders, and all the things we need for our daily work. It’s not the most organized place, but we have a system that works for us. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from one room to another. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on the road gets a bit loud, especially during rush hour, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the staircase. We try to keep the dust down, but in an old place like this, it’s a constant job. We’re just regular people doing our best in a busy part of Mumbai. It’s a good place to work and we like being here.
