You can find us at 33 Parel. It is a small space in a very old part of the city. Parel has changed a lot with all the big towers, but our corner still feels like the old days. We make handicrafts here, so the room is usually full of wood shavings, bits of fabric, and different tools. There is always a layer of dust on the shelves and the smell of glue or polish in the air. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It is more of a workshop where we sit on low stools and work with our hands. Sometimes it takes a long time to finish one piece because everything is done manually. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses and old housing chawls. It can get very crowded on the street outside, especially during the festivals. We have things piled up in the corners—some finished, some half-done. There is a small window that lets in some light, but we mostly rely on a few bright bulbs hanging from the ceiling. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the noisy city outside. We don't have many visitors, mostly just people who know we are here or other traders. We have been in Parel for a long time and we like the pace of working this way. It is simple and it keeps us busy every day of the week.
