Paras Watch Co

Paras Watch Co is located in the Abhyankar Building, which is number 88/94 on Grant Road. This is an old part of the city and the building has a lot of history. We have been operating out of this space for many years. Grant Road is always full of life, sometimes a bit too much life with all the traffic and people. Our shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy to step in off the sidewalk. We have high ceilings because of the way these old buildings were constructed. It makes the shop feel a bit bigger than it actually is. We have cabinets full of spare parts from watches that aren't even made anymore. A lot of our work is just fixing things that people thought were beyond repair. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the same hand tools we have used for decades. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us since they were kids. Now they bring their own children in. It is nice to see that. We don't do much talking unless it is about the work at hand. We just focus on the watches. It is a quiet, steady life here in the middle of Grant Road, even with all the noise outside.
