If you go down Shankar Lane in Kandivali West, you’ll find us in the Mahavir Darshan Building. We have shops 3 and 4 right across from the Jain Mandir Temple. It’s a nice area, quite peaceful in the mornings before the rush starts. We spend a lot of time arranging things on the racks. It’s not a huge place, so we have to be smart with how we use the floor space. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. My uncle started this place a while back, and we just kept it going. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know us from the temple across the way. We try to keep the shop clean, but with all the dust from the street, it’s a constant battle. We mostly focus on traditional items that people around here need. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us snacks when we can't leave the shop. We like the community here in Kandivali. It feels like home. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat, even if they aren’t buying anything that day. We don't mind. It’s part of being in a neighborhood like this for so long. We just do our best with what we have and keep the doors open. We aren't fancy, just reliable and here every day if you need us.
