Om Jodhpur Boothouse

Om Jodhpur Boothouse is tucked away inside Madhu Mension, at number 325 on Sunder Baug Road. We are right here in the Indra Nagar area of Kalbadevi. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how packed the streets can get. Our shop is filled with all sorts of footwear, mostly sturdy boots and shoes that people need for their daily lives. It smells like leather and rubber in here most of the time, which is something you just get used to. We have stacks of boxes reaching almost to the ceiling, so sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. It is a family-type atmosphere, with a few of us working behind the counter and helping customers try things on. The light inside the shop isn't the brightest, but we know where every pair is kept. Outside, the noise of Kalbadevi is constant, but inside we just focus on the customers. We have been at this Sunder Baug Road location for a long time, and many people from the neighborhood stop by just to say hello even if they do not need shoes that day. We do not have a website or fancy displays. We just put the shoes out and let people see them for themselves. It is a small, crowded space but it is ours, and we take pride in keeping the stock moving and making sure people leave with something that fits.
