Nikita Exports

We are located on the 6th floor of Mehta Mahal, which is on Mathew R in the Charni Road area. It’s an old building but it serves us well for what we do. Exports is a tough business because there are so many rules and boxes to check every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and checking on crates. The view from the 6th floor isn’t anything special, just more buildings and the busy streets of Mumbai below. Charni Road is always crowded, especially near the station, so getting to the office can be a bit of a trek in the morning. We’ve got a small team here at Nikita Exports. Most of the day is spent looking at invoices and making sure the quality of the goods is what it needs to be before they go out. It’s not glamorous work, just a lot of checking and double-checking. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the neighbors in the building all know us by now. Sometimes the elevator in Mehta Mahal is slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders moved out on time. It’s a steady rhythm of packing, labeling, and sending stuff across the water. It keeps the days moving and the office lively.
