We are based out of Jawhar Nagar in Goregaon West, specifically at house number 19/19. It’s a neighborhood that’s always active, and being on the west side means we are close to a lot of the action in Mumbai. New Leader Exports Pvt.Ltd. isn't a massive operation with a glass building. We work out of a more modest space that fits what we do. Mostly, our day is spent on the phone or checking emails about shipments and customs. Exporting stuff involves a lot of waiting and a lot of paperwork, so there’s always a bit of stress when a deadline is coming up. The office can get a little messy with samples and files spread out everywhere. We’ve lived and worked around Goregaon for a long time, so we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic, though it’s still a struggle some days. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one that gets the job done for our clients. Sometimes we have to stay late because of the time differences with other countries. It’s just part of the job. There’s a small tea shop around the corner where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life, focused on moving goods from one place to another. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure every box that leaves here is right. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the shipping rules.
