Mystique Handicraft Corporate Gifting

We are over in Kalina, mostly just doing our thing with corporate gifts and handicrafts. It’s not like those big fancy gift shops you see in malls. Our space in Santacruz East is more of a workshop where things get packed and sorted. There are always rolls of wrapping paper and boxes piled up against the walls. Some days it is quite a mess, to be honest. We spend a lot of time picking out items that people might actually want to keep on their desks. It’s mostly just us and the sound of tape dispensers going off all afternoon. Kalina is a bit of a crowded area, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually just find us through word of mouth or because they are nearby in Santacruz. It is hard work, especially when a big order comes in and we have to get everything finished by a certain date. You end up with sore fingers from all the packaging, but it feels good to see the final stack of gifts ready to go. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know where we are. It’s just a regular small business, nothing more, nothing less. We just try to get the work done right without too much fuss. We like the quiet times when we can just organize the stock.
