Mistletoe

Mistletoe is our little shop located in Abhishek Apartment, right on the Juhu Versova Link Road in Andheri West. We are at Shop No 5 G. It’s a nice enough spot, though the traffic on the link road can be a bit much during rush hour. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop is small and sometimes feels a bit cramped when we get new stock in. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to run things. It’s just us. We spend our days arranging the displays and talking to the people who walk in. It’s a very local kind of business. We don't try to be something we aren't. There are no big corporate goals here. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure people find what they are looking for. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the front door during the monsoon, and we have to put out a bucket. That’s just part of life in Mumbai. We’re used to it. We like the vibe of the Juhu Versova area because it feels like a real community. People recognize us when we’re out getting lunch. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We don't put on any acts or use big words. What you see is pretty much what you get when you visit us.
