Meena Time Sales & Services

Down by the Jnpt area, we run Meena Time Sales & Services. We are located in 4/A Kharade Apartment. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the actual port docks, but you can still feel the weight of all that logistics work happening nearby. We deal with watches and timepieces mostly, which is a slow and careful kind of job. You need steady hands and a good amount of patience for this. Our shop is quite small, and we have a lot of tools scattered around the workbench. Sometimes customers come in with old clocks that haven't worked in years, and we spend hours trying to figure out why they stopped. It’s satisfying when you finally hear that ticking sound again after a lot of work. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time now. The apartment building is familiar, and the neighbors are friendly enough when we pass them in the hall. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the trade well. Most of our tools are quite old, but they work better than some of the new ones you buy today. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright flashing lights. If someone needs something fixed or wants to buy a simple watch, they find us eventually. The salty air from the port can be a bit tough on the metal, so we have to keep everything oiled and covered. It’s a modest living.
