Mathrumandir Jain Mahilagra Udyog

Our little setup, Mathrumandir Jain Mahilagra Udyog, is located on Nati Seva Sadan Road. We take up units 203 and 204. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone arrives. We started this because we wanted something for the women in the community to do together. It’s not just a business; it’s where we spend our whole day. Nati Seva Sadan Road is a familiar place for all of us. You can usually hear us talking and working if you walk by the entrance. We handle everything ourselves, from the cleaning to the heavy lifting. The name is a bit long, but it represents who we are. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. I’m just writing this because someone needs to know where we are. At 203/204, there is always something happening. We try to keep the place tidy, though it gets cluttered when we are in the middle of a big batch of work. People come in and out, some stay for years, some just for a few months. It feels like a second home to many of the ladies here. We don't use expensive machines or anything. It's mostly just hands and hard work. If you come down Nati Seva Sadan Road, just look for our sign. We are usually there until the sun goes down, just getting things finished for the day. It’s a lot of effort, but we enjoy the company.
