We’ve been running Mangal Arts & Crafts from this spot at Lansdowne House for quite a while now. If you know the area behind the Regaal Cinema, you've probably walked right past us without even noticing. Mahakavi Bhushan Marg is always a bit busy with people coming and going from the movies or the nearby shops. Our place isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s mostly just shelves piled high with different things we’ve gathered over the years. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, especially in the summers when the fans are just moving warm air around. We spend a lot of our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to find space for everything. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we usually have a few extra lamps plugged in. It’s just how we work. People drop by mostly because they’re looking for something specific for their house or a gift, and we try to remember where we put things. It gets a bit cluttered, but that’s just the way an arts and crafts place ends up being. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us here every day making sure the orders are sorted and the door is open on time. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but we manage. It’s a good spot to be, even if it gets a bit tight inside sometimes.
