Manekal & Sons Exports

Our place is on the first floor of the Al Akbar Building. It is right there by Crawford Market, which everyone knows is a crowded and busy spot. Manekal & Sons Exports has been around these streets for many years. We handle shipping things out to different places. The Mumbai Pune Road is always packed with trucks and cars, so getting stuff moved can be a real headache sometimes. It is a small office, mostly just us and a lot of paperwork piled on the tables. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where containers are. Sometimes the heavy rain makes everything slow down. It is loud outside because of the market vendors, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a big sign or anything special. You just come up the stairs and find us. My father started things here and now we just keep the business going. We are not doing anything fancy, just moving goods from one point to another. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon sometimes. We deal with all sorts of items for export. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We just work hard and try to get the shipments out when they are supposed to go.
