Mama Traders

Mama Traders is located right in the middle of the chaos of Zaveri Bazar and Kalbadevi in Mumbai. Our address is 246, and we are quite close to the Juma Masjid, which is a big landmark around here. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded these streets get at any time of the day. There are always people carrying heavy loads on their heads and handcarts moving through the narrow lanes. It is a very old part of the city, and the buildings are all packed together. We handle a lot of different items here, mostly trading in whatever the local demand is for that week. The air is always thick with the smell of the city and the sound of horns from the taxis. We don't have much room inside the shop at 246, so we have to be very clever with how we stack our boxes to make sure everything fits. It is not a place for someone who likes quiet or peaceful work. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to suppliers who come through the market.
