Our shop is on the ground floor of the Kohinoor Cinema Building, which is a very old and well-known landmark near Dadar Railway Station. We are right on L M Road in Dadar West. Being so close to the station means there is always a crowd outside, but inside the shop, it feels a bit like stepping back in time. We have 'Gramophone' in our name because we used to handle those a lot more in the past, though nowadays it is mostly watches. Still, we have a lot of history in these walls. The shop has been in the family for a long time. We fix all sorts of watches, from the ones you wind up to the ones with batteries. Dadar is the heart of the city, so we get people from all over Mumbai stopping in. The building itself has a lot of character, even if it shows its age. We work at old wooden desks that have seen thousands of repairs. It can be noisy with the traffic and the station nearby, but we have gotten used to it over the decades. We don't have a modern showroom or anything. It is just a place with a lot of spare parts, old tools, and a bit of dust. We take pride in just getting the job done. If you have an old watch that others won't touch, we might be able to help. We stay here from morning till night, just like the generations before us did.
