We’ve been at Dev Smruti for a while now, right on M.S. Road No. 5. If you know the J.V.P.D. Scheme in Vile Parle West, you know it can get pretty busy around here. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially during the peak hours, but that is just how things are in this part of Mumbai. We usually start our mornings early, getting the lights on and checking what needs to be sorted for the day. There are a few other businesses in the building, so you see the same faces in the hallway quite often. We like it here because it is a familiar spot. People usually find us by looking for the sign near the entrance, though sometimes they miss it if they aren't paying attention. It is a practical setup for what we do. Nothing too complicated. We just keep our files organized and try to stay on top of the paperwork that comes through. The neighborhood has changed some over the years, with new shops opening up nearby, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look corporate. It is just a place to work, really. Most of our day is spent at our desks or talking to folks who stop by with questions about what we handle here. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle, and that is where we usually take our breaks.
