Our spot is located at 1/A, Asha Nagar, in the 13 Sahyadri Building, which is right near Thakur Complex in Kandivali East. It is a fairly easy place to find once you get into the rhythm of the neighborhood. Kwality Marbles & Handicrafts (India) Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our waking hours. Because we deal with marbles and various handicrafts, there is usually a bit of dust around the place. It is not a shiny, perfect showroom. It is more of a practical workspace where things actually get done. The Sahyadri building has been around for a while, and so have we. We don't really go for the whole corporate vibe. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to move stock around. Mumbai weather is often humid, so we keep the windows open or the fans on full blast. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved in this line of work. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy speeches or writing long emails. We just look at the stone, check the handicrafts, and make sure everything is in order. It is a busy life, but it’s what we know. If you come by, you’ll probably find us having some tea or checking the latest arrivals. We keep it simple and don't try to be something we aren't.
