Kora Amruta Exports Ltd. operates out of 45, Paras Vijai, which is right opposite Sahara India on S.V. Road in Goregaon West. If you’ve ever been on S.V. Road, you know the traffic is no joke. It’s a constant stream of cars and rickshaws outside our windows. Inside, though, we’re mostly busy with the paperwork and logistics that come with the export business. There’s always a stack of shipping documents on someone’s desk and the phones are usually ringing with people asking about schedules or containers. We aren’t a huge, faceless corporation; we’re just a group of people working out of this office in Goregaon. The office itself is functional. We’ve got some filing cabinets that have seen better days and a tea maker that’s the most important piece of equipment we own. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or a polished image. We just try to keep up with the pace of the city and the demands of the business. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when deadlines are tight, but we manage to get through it. Being in Goregaon (W) is convenient because everything is close by, even if the noise from S.V. Road never really stops. It’s an honest day’s work for us at Kora Amruta. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and don't worry too much about the rest of the world.
