Our office is located at C-913 in the Raj Residency building, which is right near the Jain Temple in Kandivali West. It is a pretty straightforward place to work from, mostly just desks and a lot of filing cabinets filled with papers. We spend most of the day on the phone or typing away at the computers to keep track of where everything is going. Being on a higher floor means we get a decent view of the area, though we don't spend much time looking out the window. The building itself is usually quiet, except for the sounds of the temple bells nearby which you can hear if the windows are open. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork for moving goods around, so there are always piles of documents that need sorting. It isn't the most exciting work, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fairly quickly. We have a small pantry where we make tea in the afternoons when things slow down for a bit. Most of the people who come by are just delivery couriers or people from other offices in the residency. We’ve been in this spot for some time and have gotten to know the security guards and the local shopkeepers downstairs. It’s a practical setup for what we do, and we don't really feel the need for anything more complicated than this. Just a regular workplace in a busy part of Mumbai.
