Khushi Creation

I have been working at this spot in Manish Market for quite a while now. Our shop, Khushi Creation, is at F/14 on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs near the Kohinoor Technical Institute to find us. It gets really crowded around here in Dadar West, especially in the afternoons when the market is full of people looking for deals. My typical day starts with pulling up the heavy metal shutters and trying to organize the shelves before the first customers arrive. We handle a lot of different fabrics and clothing items, mostly just focusing on whatever people are looking for at the moment. The shop isn't very big, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. I spend a lot of time checking the details on the pieces and making sure everything is counted correctly. It is a lot of manual work and standing around, but that is just how it goes in a place like this. The fans overhead hum all day, and you can hear the noise from the street coming up through the windows. We know most of the other shopkeepers nearby, so there is always someone to chat with if things get quiet. It is just a regular, local business where we show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving. There is nothing fancy about it, just a practical space in a busy market.
