Kashmir Handloom Handicraft

Our shop, Kashmir Handloom Handicraft, is tucked away in Bandra West near the Sahakari Bhandar on Station Road. It's a lively part of the neighborhood, especially with the station so close by. Samuel Street can get a bit crowded, but that's just how it is around here. We have all sorts of things inside, mostly items made by hand like the name says. There are piles of fabrics and different crafts sitting on the shelves. It’s not a massive store, so things are kind of packed in close together. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and talking to people who wander in from the street. Some people are just looking, others know exactly what they want. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it gives the place a cozy feel. We’ve been at this Bandra West location for a while now and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. It gets dusty sometimes with the windows open to the street, so we’re always wiping things down. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People usually find us when they’re walking toward the station or doing their grocery shopping nearby. It's a simple business, just us selling handmade goods in a busy corner of the city. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush settles down a bit. It’s a lot of work keeping everything neat, but we don't mind the effort much. Usually, the tea guy comes by around four and we take a quick break then.
