K. M. Exports

Our office for K. M. Exports is located at 68, 2nd Floor, in the L.K. Market at 156 Zaveri Bazar. If you have ever been to Zaveri Bazar, you know how packed the lanes are. It is the heart of the trade here, and it is always moving. We are up on the second floor, which gives us a little bit of distance from the crowd on the ground, but you can still hear the buzz of the market all day long. The space is small and we have to be very careful with how we use it. We have boxes piled up near the door ready to be shipped out, and our desks are usually covered in shipping forms and samples. It is a busy environment. We spend a lot of our time communicating with people overseas and making sure everything is packed correctly for export. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of working in an old market building. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for couriers to arrive. It is not a glamorous job, and the stairs are quite narrow, but we like being in the middle of all the action. We have been here for a while and the people in the neighboring offices are like family to us now.
