Jodhavat Watch Mobile

I run the shop here at Guru Vidya Building in Bandra West. It’s Shop Number 4. If you know where the Jain Mandir is, we are just right there. I’ve been sitting behind this counter for quite a while now. We do watches and we also handle mobile phones because that is what people need these days. It is not a very big place. There is just enough room for the display cases and a small stool for me to sit on while I work. The traffic outside on the road can get really loud sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. I usually have a lot of different watch batteries in the drawer because people are always coming in for that. Some days it is quiet and I just clean the glass on the displays. The mobile phone side of things keeps me busy too. People drop their phones and crack the screens or the charging port stops working. I try to fix things as fast as I can, but sometimes I have to wait for parts to come in from the suppliers. It’s just how it is. Most of the regulars live right around here in Purna Nagar. They stop by for a chat while I look at their stuff. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Nothing too fancy, just honest work in a small shop. I’ve always preferred working for myself even if the shop is small. It’s better than being in a big office.
