If you ever find yourself on S.V. Road in Andheri West, you might see us. Jhanvi-Impex is located at 21, Yeshvant Nagar, right across the street from Shoppers Stop. It’s a very busy spot, especially with the crowds going to the mall and the traffic constantly moving towards the station. Our office is a small space where we handle all our import and export work. It’s often filled with the sound of the busy street outside, but we’ve learned to tune it out while we’re working on our papers and talking to suppliers. We don't have a big team, just a few of us sitting at our desks surrounded by files and samples. The building is older, and the elevator sometimes has a mind of its own, so we often just take the stairs. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just coordinate shipments and make sure things get from one place to another. Sometimes it gets stressful when there are delays at the port or with the transport, but that’s just the nature of the business. We usually grab a quick tea from the vendor downstairs and watch the chaos of Andheri for a few minutes before heading back to work. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just try to stay on top of the paperwork and keep our clients informed. It’s a regular office life in a very fast-paced part of Mumbai.
