Jainam Watch

Our shop is located at 18/B in the Shalimar Maniklal Estate, right across from Ratnakar Bank. Being in Kandivali West means there is always something happening outside. Jainam Watch is a modest place where we spend most of our hours. We have been here quite some time and have gotten to know the regular faces who pass by. The shop is filled with the sound of small movements. We mostly work on repairs, taking things apart and putting them back together. It takes a bit of patience, especially with the older watches that people bring in. We have seen watches that have been in families for thirty years. Sometimes the parts are hard to find, but we do what we can. The bank across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Inside, it is just us and our tools. We do not use any fancy machines, just the hands-on stuff that has worked for years. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the boxes and spare parts, but we know where everything is. We just focus on getting the job done so people can get back to their day. It is a simple life running a shop like this in Kandivali. We do not need much more than a steady hand and a good light to keep the business going every day.
