You can find us at 105 in the Nagina Co-Op Housing Society, which is over in Jogeshwari West. Being in a housing society means we have to be a bit mindful of our neighbors, so we don't make too much noise. Jogeshwari is a place that never really stops, and the traffic outside can be pretty bad at times. We mostly handle imports and exports from this small office. It is mostly a lot of phone calls to agents and checking on where containers are at any given moment. Jain Imports & Exports has been around for some time, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in how the shipping business works. We have a few computers and a lot of binders filled with old invoices. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we have a good lamp. Sometimes we get deliveries that are hard to get up the stairs, which is always a bit of a struggle. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just a few of us trying to make sure the goods get from point A to point B without too many problems. We know our regulars and we appreciate the people who have stuck with us. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s our grind. We just keep showing up and doing the work as best as we can. There is always more to be done before we can close the door for the night.
