H V Pithadia

We are located at 132 S P Road in the Gulal Wadi area. If you’ve ever been to S P Road, you know it’s one of the busiest places in the city with all the shops and people carrying heavy loads. H V Pithadia is an old-school establishment. We have been in this building for many years, dealing with hardware and metal bits that people need for construction or repairs. The shop is quite narrow and goes back a long way, filled with boxes and heavy items stacked up to the ceiling. It’s not the easiest place to walk through, and you have to be careful not to trip over something. We don't have a fancy sign or a big window. People usually find us because they’ve been told we have what they are looking for. The air is always a bit metallic and the street outside is never quiet. We open early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. My family has been doing this for a couple of generations now. We don't use much technology here, just old ledgers and a lot of memory. Sometimes we can't find a specific part right away, but we eventually dig it out from the back. It’s a tough business being in such a crowded market, but we are used to the noise and the constant movement of Gulal Wadi. It's just the way things go here on the road.
