Gurjar Exports

Gurjar Exports is located up on the third floor of Mani Mahal. If you are coming down Matthew Road, you will see the building at 11/21. It’s an old place with a lift that works most of the time, though sometimes we just take the stairs. Our office, room 304, is usually packed with samples and boxes ready for shipping. It gets quite crowded in there during the afternoon when the couriers come by to pick up the daily loads. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things get to where they need to go. It isn’t a large operation, just a few of us sitting at desks with plenty of coffee to keep us moving. The walls are covered in calendars and maps because we have to keep track of different schedules. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We’ve been in this spot for several years now and the neighbors in the building are all friendly enough. We mostly focus on getting things packed right so nothing breaks on the way. It’s a lot of bubble wrap and tape around here. We don’t have a showroom, just the workspace where the real business happens. It’s nothing special to look at, but it’s where we get everything done every single day.
