Gupta Shop

Gupta Shop is located in the Kandivali West area. We’re tucked away in the Jayalakshmi Indl Estate on Bannerghatta Road 6. It’s more of a working neighborhood than a shopping one, so we are surrounded by small factories and warehouses. We’ve been at Bannerghatta Road 6 for quite a few years now. The shop itself is very basic, with simple shelves and a lot of stock piled up. We don’t have a fancy storefront or a big neon sign. It’s just Gupta Shop. Our days are spent mostly on our feet, moving items around and keeping track of what we have. It gets a bit dusty in the Jayalakshmi Indl Estate because of all the trucks, so we are always dusting things off. We don’t use any marketing speak or have a polished image. We’re just local people running a local business in Kandivali West. We know all the guys who work in the other units on Bannerghatta Road 6. We often share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. Sometimes we have issues with the plumbing or the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just fix it and move on. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the best, we just want to keep the shop going. If you come down to Jayalakshmi Indl Estate, you’ll find us there at number 6.
