Ghetia Exports India Pvt Ltd is located over at Malad West in Hariom Market, specifically unit H/1202. Our office is on the 12th floor, so we get a bit of a view of the surrounding area, but mostly we are just looking at shipping documents all day. The market is always crowded, and getting up the elevator can take a while if you arrive at the wrong time. We deal with exporting different goods to various places, which means a lot of time spent on the phone and checking emails. It’s a small team here, just a few desks pushed together. We don’t have any polished reception area or big signs. It’s a functional space for getting the job done. Sometimes the logistics can get messy when a ship is delayed or there’s a problem at the port. Those are the days when we stay late and drink way too many cups of tea from the stall downstairs. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. We don’t really do any marketing or fancy brochures. We just focus on the invoices and making sure the containers are loaded correctly. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the export business. It’s just a regular office life in Malad, trying to keep things moving as smoothly as the traffic allows. We go home when the work is finished, usually quite tired.
